The Student Government Association is the sole governing body of the student organizations at Western Connecticut State University. The SGA also acts as a representative voice of the entire student body. As a student, you are represented through the SGA in nearly every decision-making body governing campus life.

• protect the rights and freedoms of individual students and student groups in academic/social areas.
